SEATBELTS FOR THOMAS FOUNDATION
ABOUT
Our Story
This foundation was started in loving memory of Thomas Santino Fonte. A son, a brother, and proud uncle from Pine Hill who tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on April 12, 2019, at just 21 years of age. The major cause of his death was due to not wearing his seatbelt. Everyone that knew Thomas knows that his passion was always baseball. He had such a strong love for the game. He had undeniable guts, on and off the field. One thing that we will not allow, is for his death to be in vain. Thomas would be so proud knowing he is giving other kids the opportunity to form the same kind of love for baseball that he did.
OUR GOAL
BASEBALL EQUIPMENT
The Seatbelts for Thomas Foundation's mission is to be able to raise money to purchase and donate baseball equipment or uniforms to local organizations, schools, or children that are in need. This could also cover registration, tournament, or other related fees.
GIVING BACK
We are so grateful for all of the support our Nonprofit has received, and are so honored to be able to give Coach Greg Himes and the Overbrook Rams baseball team our very first Seatbelts for Thomas donation! This was the very best way to spend Thomas's 25th birthday!
